Yes, MunchMap is completely free to use.
Does it only work with TikTok?
Currently MunchMap is designed for TikTok food videos, but we're exploring support for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts in the future.
How does MunchMap know which restaurant is in the video?
MunchMap uses AI to analyze the TikTok video's title, description, and location tags, then cross-references with Google Places to find the exact restaurant with accurate coordinates.
What if the AI picks the wrong restaurant?
MunchMap shows you multiple candidates to choose from, and you can always search for and select the correct place manually.
Can I add places that aren't from TikTok?
Not yet, but this is a feature we're considering for the future.
Is my data private?
